Safety and static improvement

High urgency intervention for the safety and static consolidation of the Pieve San Basso loggia located in Cupra Marittima (AP).
The building of the Pieve di San Basso in Marano dating back to the 10th century, was established as a Romanesque church of San Basso, most probably built by the monks of Farfa, for the preservation of the Saint's body.
The intervention carried out consists in reinforcing the foundations subject to failure, through the construction of poles and micropoles with the insertion of steel reinforcements in the section of the foundations themselves. Tensing works were carried out using iron chains of the colonnade and the reinforcement of the internal walls of the loggia on the first floor.
All the works were performed under the supervision of the Superintendence for Architectural and Landscape Heritage of Marche.
